Hexarthrius sanuchi Fukinuki, 2004 (78mm) is one of the rarest Lucanidae in the world, only known from a few specimens in Japan. The only reason I want to travel to Cambodia for. I can't believe I've found it.

Never heard of this species. Looks very similar to H.parryi. What are the main differences in these two species?

It has mandibles like Hexarthrius nigtritus and body like H.parryi. The main differences is on the shoulder areas. It's at the back of "The Lucanidae of the world" Plates 1361.
