Opinions on the identification of this Catocala from southwestern Oregon, Josephine County, would be appreciated. I think it is Catocala faustina cleopatra. It is described as deep bluish grey, perhaps even greyer than indicated in photo. Large, open, pork chop-shaped subreniform spot, indistinct reniform spot, colouration seem most suggestive of faustina cleopatra. Sorry no views of hindwings, abdomen or underside available. No wingspan available; just date: September 11, 2013 and location: Wolf Creek, Josephine County, southwestern Oregon. Bill Oehlke
