Would be interesting to learn the location in French Guyana !
I sent the pictures to a Hesperiidae of FG specialist ! Because I wonder if it would be another subspecies of Morvina morvus.
Morvina morvus para Evans, 1953 is given for Para in Brazil. French Guyana is not so far but your sample is a little bit different.

Many thanks. I will check the sites youlisted. The specimen was collected from Saut Maripas on the 25th November 2007. Brazil is just across the Oyapock river. I have posted a second Hesperid, also from FG. farfett

Hi. It's me again. I have checked the sites indicated above. The species could belong to Moriva morvus complex but I do not think it belongs to the ssp. para. Farfett
