This is a species of Gorgythion. But I've never been able to tell the difference between G vox and G begga based on photos (or in the field period). I collect them all and dissect my way through them.

Many thanks for your help. From the specimens figured in "moths of America" site, my specimen is nearer to begga than vox. If I have no further replies regarding this species, I will label my specimen as Gorgythion ?begga (Prittwitz, 1868). By the way, do you know which of these 2 species fly on Guyane? Many thanks again. Farfett.

They supposedly fly together throughout much of latin America - I don't for sure about Guyane. Almost everything I catch is G begga
