Nice catch Dunc, Maculinea arionides truly is a stunning sight. I came across this male in a German museum, it came from eastern Russia.  I'm only missing pictures of the larger Phengaris sensu stricto now. I may be lucky to find some of them in Frankfurt but they might be out of my prince range  . |

I have been unable to locate Phengaris sensu stricto , I cant see that one turning up at an insect fair in England.
