Also 'she' claims to be selling insects of *Thailand*, but this beetle comes from Peru. Very suspicious. The family name Millah sounds rather African to me, as opposed to the western 'Miller'.

They aren't even real adverts for auction items either, as there's no link to an auction item page.

The titles of these classifieds are just copied and pasted from the actual ebay auction They don't try very hard to make this adverts look real. Made very obvious for everyone to see.

I emailed "Sarah" and asked for her price list. The list of butterflies were all from Africa. The list of beetles were all from South America. The address on the price list was in Thailand. Very, very strange that she did not offer any insects from Thailand. I decided to place an order just to see what would happen. I was told that she will not ship without 50% payment. Very obviously a scammer. It would be good to stay away completely!!

damoose sent me her price list, and the address "5 Kotchasarn Soi 4, T.Changkarn A.Muang, Chiangmai" is copied directly off tourism website listings for the Royal Guest House, Chiang Mai. Note also the address is copied complete with spelling and punctuation errors. The word Changkarn should be Changklan and there should be a comma after that word and a space after the full stops abbreviating 'T' and 'A' (Tambon and Amphoe - subdistrict and district).
The telephone number is the mobile phone of Rojas Asian International Co., Ltd in Bangkok, which is a company trading in copper and aluminium.
Definitely a scammer!
Adam.
PS. I found out all this information by a simple google search on the address and another on the phone number. It is a simple matter to try such an investigation of any seller that you suspect might be a scammer. Investigate first, and only part with money when you know that the seller is genuine AND reliable.
