What a wonderful feat of engineering, soon we will weaponize it.

The CIA released footage of a mechanized dragonfly with a microphone from back in the 70's, so you can imagine what they're working with now. There have even been reports of insects that "weren't insects" at political gatherings Now we know why big brother hates insect collectors! You just might have a spy drone in your drawer

Yeah, privacy is becoming a thing of the past. If you own a smartphone, hackers can track you through the GPS chip, watch you through your camera, listen through your microphone, follow your Internet activity, and the list goes on and on. The same goes for newer laptops, modern video game systems, etc. Occasionally I'll wink into my camera to give any potential spy doubts about who's watching who. I guess if you have nothing to hide, no need to worry, and if you do you'd better be pretty smart

It looks like ckswank already posted this earlier. I try to make sure I don't post repeat/covered threads, but it happens I guess.

Yeah, it never hurts to be cautious. In reality most people have nothing to worry about, but it never ceases to amaze me how careless some people can be with what they do on the Internet. Recently there was a hacker group that leaked a large amount of information from electronic corporations like Sony, and even hacked the FBI database. One of the perps was caught via Facebook! You're savvy enough to hack one of the top government agencies but can't stay off crackbook I also had a friend who is an avid hunter, and his nephew put pictures of a trophy Mule deer that was shot a couple hundred meters out of the designated hunting area. Fish and Game officials were able to determine the location and prosecute him, which ended up being quite costly. Who needs a criminal database when you have Facebook. It's the new "system."

It would have been more realistic if it had gone over to one of the big windows and just buzzed against it constantly.
Speaking of government. I'd be ok with a spy odonata in my yard. When they make a robotic tapeworm........

What about a robotic mosquito intentionally injecting a disease after taking blood and analyzing DNA to confirm it has the right target? I'd want to buy a mobile EMP emitter if I was a VIP.
