  The data I have for this specimen is Makassar, Celebese Island, Indonesia. The wingspan from wing tip to wing tip is 12.5 cm. Thanks |

Chris,
I am pretty sure it is Antheraea rosemariae.
Second choice would be Antheraea cihangiri
I will have to put images on pages with each of those two specimens to see which is closest.

I have placed the images on my Antheraea rosemariae page and they are a very good match for that species, and the location is also right for rosemariae.
