i have this male papilio hoppo specimen with what looks to be a extra vain in the hindwing that shouldn't be there, does this happen usually? or is it just a freak specimen. let me know your thoughts zac Attachments:

phto is not so clear ! it can be a glued tail !  or a freak !  can you show a better photo and /or recto surface ? |

As far as I can see from the photo, it appears that vein 4 splits above the tail. Vein aberrations do occur from time to time, but are certainly not normal.

hopefully these 2x photo's are clear enough to see. it certainly is the real thing no touch ups.
