i have this male papilio hoppo specimen with what looks to be a extra vain in the hindwing that shouldn't be there, does this happen usually? or is it just a freak specimen. let me know your thoughts zac Attachments:

phto is not so clear ! it can be a glued tail ! or a freak ! can you show a better photo and /or recto surface ?

As far as I can see from the photo, it appears that vein 4 splits above the tail. Vein aberrations do occur from time to time, but are certainly not normal.
