One of my all time favorite singers, the late John Denver, sings a song of our childhood. I just thought I would post this and perhaps bring a smile to those who can relate.

I very much loved his songs as well. I still sing Sunshine to myself often. Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on his death?

Growing up in the 1970's, I couldn't help but hear his songs on the radio. When I listened to the lyrics I had a sense of a real connection with him and his experiences in the outdoors. His music meant a great deal to me, and I still listen to it from time to time. He had the ability to take you to a clear mountain lake, or into an unspoiled wilderness in his songs. I still remember hearing about his death in a radio report. The feeling was shock, and some disbelief! Some said it was suicide, but I don't believe that for one moment. I think it was some type of malfunction in the fuel delivery system of the aircraft he was piloting at the time of the crash. Witnesses say they saw the plane suddenly make a nosedive into the bay area. Even the most experienced pilots can't recover control after a certain point.
