the only data this came with is Manus Island, could it be priamus admiralitatis ?

This certainly seems to Ornithoptera priamus admiralitatis. Hard to obtain

very old Peter, I must admit I do find the whole priamus ssp a bit daunting.

So do I dunc, the priamus group are not easy to ID, but this seems to be admiralitatis especially in the verso and in the shape of its wings.

admiralitatus is one of the easiest to recognize - look at the hindwing and if it has a shape similar to that of Mynes then "by George I think you got it" Cheers
