This person has posted in the classified (and not for the first time) two ads for Parnassius; one reads: "we have many species of parnassius cocoons ready for supply in wholesale, contact me now for list and whole sale price ". The address given is in Sichuan, China but the IP address appears to be in Germany, which sounds dodgy. Moreover, anyone who thinks that Parnassius spin cocoons should not be posting here.

These types of scam ads get posted several times a year, often in both live and dead Lepidoptera sections. Don't go anywhere near them.

I deleted her ads. She was claiming to be from China but her ads were posted from Germany.

I asked for her list of "moth specimens" which was posted in the dead stock section I believe (now gone as Clark states)
I got a reply from here saying she has 300 cocoons. She just needs my address and the money first and she will ship from China. I knew it was a scam but wanted to see the list and sure enough I have the same list about 2 years ago from different name in China ??
