Almost 40 years ago, I acquired 11 specimens, 4 males & 7 females, of Appias ilaire from Guatemala. The current Genus name is Glutophrissa. Although similar to Glutophrissa drusilla which occur in south Florida and in the Rio Grande Valley of SE Texas, Glutophrissa ilaire occurs in Mexico and central America. However, I have been told that it is Glutophrissa drusilla tenius. I cannot find any documentation on Glutophrissa drusilla/ilaire/tenius.
Is anyone familar with these species?
