Subject: Collecting equipment in exhange for papered moth specimens. SCAMMER: Hamid Bostanchi, alias Reza Shekarchi, alias Reza Shekari, E-mail address: hamidbostanchi2008@gmail.com, shipping/mailing address: Hamid Bostanchi, Karaj-Mehrvila, P.O.Box 31375-1378, IRAN. This person begged me for months to supply him with some collecting equipment. He stated he would send to me some moth specimens sent to me in return the following year. I sent him what he requested and he subsequently acknowledged receiving the equipment in good order. For over (2) two years he said he will send me specimens ‘next year’. Now for months he will not acknowledge me or respond to me whatsoever, though FB acknowledges he has viewed all of my inquiries to him to present day. I also have 20 E-mails between Hamid and I discussing these matters. I also have the complete transcript over 2 years of FB ‘Chat”. It is rather disgusting that we have individuals such as this who operate dishonestly and cheat and lie to others. Six (6)months ago, I first advised Hamid I would report him as a scammer if he failed to respond to me or complete our agreed transaction. I have waited far too long to report this dishonest person. He will promise you anything and tell you anything to get what he wants, but provides nothing in return. Other have reported he has scammed them as well in the past. One person who was also cheated by him reported Hamid as a 'FAMOUS SCAMMER'.
