Not sure if this is a subspecies of louisa or a full species

I must say here that Dave has some super Stichophthalma specimens and his photography of them is just exemplary. I believe many of the species-subspecies are quite hard to obtain . I would like to know, which is your most prized specimen of this genus and what species-subspecies is the hardest to acquire. Peter.

Thanks for those kind words Peter
I am still waiting for some clever taxonomist to do a complete revision of this whole group & then perhaps I may be able to answer your questions fully-these "new" species/subspecies from Indo-China are very nice though & I am pleased to have them in the collection.
S nourmahal from Sikkim,Assam & Bhutan is perhaps the most difficult to get hold of..I have a male with half it's right forewing missing...the specimen is over one hundred years old.
S fruhstorferi is another one which is never offered-perhaps another louisa sub species.
Dave

Thank you for the update Dave, seems as you mentioned a full revision of this genus is in order. They are indeed spectacular butterflies.
Peter.
