Has someone already encountered problems with this supplier ?... This is now about three months I organised with them an order for a lot of moths, for a value of $680. They asked me to pay with paypal, I payed this amount on 23th of july. They were supposed to send the parcel and give me the tracking number... Now on 16th of october, I still did not receive any parcel, and the supplier (contact : Lisseth), stopped communication with me... If someone can help me, give me some tips, that would be welcome. Thanks a lot. Regards.

When you pay with paypal, you can claim when you do not get your parcel within a certain period ! In your case you waited too long and I think it is too late now to obtain something with paypal ...

If they are in Peru they are probably having problems with the postal strike.

the supplier gave me excuses to go around and around in circles...problems of post-office (strike or other, I don't know...), long delay to get export permit, then they told me that it's not possible to send the package to me with EMS...too many excuses, just to get more time....then the 45 days delay for paypal was passed, and strangly, the supplier stopped communication with me...they know very well the rules, and I didn't....That's a good lesson for me, OK, but the supplier should apply more respectuous and honnest methods.... So this message is just to warn people to be especially careful with this supplier. Do not send money before having received your package !... Thierry.

Dear Clark, I suppose you still have not received any news from the supplier AMAZONIAN INSECTS & BUTTERFLIES ... Nothing on my side. Silence....for several weeks now....It proves that there's something wrong behind that... I am particularly amazed to see that a such supplier who had seemed very serious, with a very nice website, can be to this incorrect point with its customers ..... it is really too bad because you are forced to take the consequences on insectnet.com, a site really useful and user-friendly that I consulted for years. I want to thank all of you for your support, even if I cannot recover my money ... the key point is that this story serves to other customers like me, and I really hope they will never been cheated like I have been... Thanks again to all. Thierry

The postal strike theory is looking more probable.

Thanks ZAC for the info. Just wait and see... I didn't find any comments or posts about this new supplier, I don't know if they are reliable or not. That's while I didn't have a look on insectnet forum....Do you know when this supplier created his site ...Thanks. Thierry

How and why is my comment no longer showing here?!? I deleted comments that were veering off-topic. The topic here is Amazonian.
