Hi Clark Please can you tell me when I click to enlarge on the old style format images, these do not enlarge but act as downloads, which I cannot open anyway? Thanks Peter.

Do you guys have an example of an image that has this issue? (I'll test it too.)

Thanks Tom- For a start go to page eight on My Favourite Ornithoptera thread and click on those Ornithoptera paradisea specimens shown by Oliversch. No enlargements but downloads you may get.
Cheers Peter

I'm not sure what's happened with those files... They are not showing up as image files, but rather "file" files (as opposed to ".jpg" files for example)... so somehow I think they've been corrupted. The other thing I noticed is that the images that don't enlarge seem to have very long file names.

I can't seem to duplicate the issue as it seems like the "attachment" system has changed since the time those images were posted.

I think that your opinion is spot on, the files have in some cases been corrupted. Not a major problem, but still annoying when you want to enlarge a image that members have taken the trouble to post.

Peter,
Try downloading the files, and rename them as .jpg instead of .file before opening them. It might work.
