I'm fairly sure these both belong in Theclinae... but if anyone can help me narrow it down more, that would be awesome. Caught 7/VII/2014 Nebobongo, Haut-Uele, DRC Caught 29/VI/2014 Nebobongo, Haut-Uele, DRC (Syrmoptera sp.?)

Hi: I think the first one is Hypokopelates eleala. They definitely look similar! Though from what I'm reading eleala's range doesn't extend as far east as where I caught that specimen... I'm not sure if that's significant though. Thanks! Tom

Miguel Yes, what I've read has it located in western and central D.R. Congo. The location where I caught it is in NE D.R. Congo... I mean, it's all one continuous forested zone from central Congo to where I caught it, so it could be just a new record for the species, but I'm not yet an expert, which is why I'm a bit hesitant. Thank you, Tom

Oh! ... I believe the ID was misspelled and probably should be, as you had suggested, Syrmoptera melanomitra nivea (not neavei).
