Dear Friends and Colleagues hello,

Be very carefully with Tolei from SOLOMONS, WILLIAM C. TOLLEI. My assistant send to him 2700$ and he deceived us!

Before I had with him some big deals and now he deceived us!

He wrote me some messages, he promised send me a parcel with my specimens in August, in September, then in a middle of November, but no any result. He ignored many my messages...

Passed 5,5 months and no parcel or refund...

Don't work with him!!!

Starting around 8:15 he explains some problems that the Solomons have with CITES system, that is, their permits are not recognized by many CITES members. This may have something to do with your situation. Maybe.

I bought from him (non Cites) Graphium species 2 years ago and he does not send them or reply anymore to any emails in the past 2 years, this guy is a thief.I was warned from a friend that he would do this one day.....

I am sorry for your losses. Thank you for posting so we can all learn. I still have a suspicion that he is in some legal trouble for his activities, but nevertheless not responding to the emails is very bad.

I dealt with William years ago when Solomon Islands permits were accepted by the authorities in Canada even when they were not party to CITES. He was good then and shipped promptly with the right documentation, but it appears he has gone bad. I would not deal with Roxley Tara in the Solomons, I had a bad experience with him, but I have not seen his name around lately. Andrew

Go back and search for my old post about what happens in Solomons. In short, the will deliver whatever they have and relatives give them and promise it's first class. Not unlikely, his family demanded money (part of their system) and then he couldn't pay for your material, and/or he sold it elsewhere.

Many dealers will bait with several deliveries then scam you by taking the money. This is worldwide. Fulfill a $200 order, then a $500 order, then a $1000 order, then get the big money and run.

As far as I'm concerned there are ZERO reputable dealers in Solomons. Go there and buy them,buy what you see, OK. Send money first, no way. The family system and the lure of big money make it impossible.
