I am quite new in the 'butterfly collecting-world' and I am curious about your experiences with rusinsects.com (in terms of reliability, quality, delivery speed in comparison with similar websites as for example . As I am only interested in holarctic/palearctic species, the website offers a wide range of species. |

rusinsects.com is run by Ilya Osipov, and is one of the oldest and more reliable butterfly dealers in Russia, although there are many other reliable dealers there as well as some less so.
Osipov provides data with all specimens, and quality is usually reasonable.

Thank you for your response Adam, for me personally between reasonable and good is a large area. Are the species from rusinsects.com already mounted, or...?

There is a gap between reasonable and good, and it really also depends on your interpretation of quality as well. One person's A1 is another person's A-.
Their specimens are papered, and that is the norm for most sellers, unless they specifically state that the specimens are mounted.
I should add that I haven't bought anything for a few years now, so my information may not be 100% up to date.

As far as I know, they do not have a site and do not sell anything on Ebay.
