I seem to only be able to add attachments, and not insert an image found on my computer. Therefore, I cannot arrange text around the images, as the images are appended at the end. When I click the "insert image" link, I get asked for a URL. I tried putting in file://C:\Documents and Setting\my documents\my pictures\set1.jpg, for example, but that did not work. Please advise.

If you click the add attachment button in the top right it will give you the option to add files and you can browse your library for the image you want. You can then place the string of data anywhere in the text and it will wrap around. Make sure to preview before posting, and this can be done by clicking the preview button at the bottom left of your screen. Let me know if that doesn't work.

It's asking for a link to a specific webpage where the image is found. In order to do this you need to first upload the image to a hosting website (like photobucket for example). From there you can copy the direct link to the image and use it where it asks for the URL. (This is my preferred method.) Tom

Dan, when I go into edit mode for the post, there are no photos that appear, only my text, so no way to "wrap" text. The add attachment option specifically states that photos will be appended only at the end, and that is what it does.
Tom, I will try your option, but if there is an attachment, there is the option to zoom in to the actual downloaded size. My guess is that the link would show the photo only as the posted size of the image on photobucket, but not the actual size of the uploaded photo. Am I right or am I wrong ?
Thank you to both of your for your input.
Michael

To 'insert' an image it must be hosted somewhere on the web - AND you must enter the image URL (not the page URL) Image URLS always end with the image file name. Plus you have to put img tags at the beginning and end of the URL, like this: [ i m g]image URL[/ i m g]
Remove the spaces.

Hello Michael,
I see you are still having problem inserting the images the way you want. I have taken some screenshots to help you out a little more. If the image is stored on your computer, this is a very easy way to format the post for those who may be less technically inclined.
After the file is added, click in the post where you want the image to appear and manually insert it.
Notice where the string of data is manually inserted
If this doesn't work I will need more info from you
All the best, Dan
