One bidder retracted its MAX bid at 3000 US$. Super low price at 1000 US$ now.

Yes it is a scam for the one located in "Russia" Once contacted, the seller replied to me within an hour saying specimens were already packed and that pictures could not be taken. Who is willing to spend 1000s $ without pictures or preview of the purchase???
For the one in "China" it may have been a pre-CITES purchase. Still, the seller needs to provide a permit (different than CITES, since O. alexandrae cant be sold nor purchased) to state that the specimen was "pre-CITES" and got obtained legally during this "pre-CITES' period. Seller stated that permits could not be provided. Making purchase without this paper work is not recommended.
