I have been working diligently to re-classify our ads in order to separate eBay ads from non-eBay ads of items for sale. Nothing against eBay ads but some users would rather skip them altogether, like for example those who do not have an eBay account. Here's how you do it. Click the Advanced Search link in the upper right hand corner of a Classifieds page. You will get this search form: Tab down to the Type field and select 'FOR SALE' (which is now reserved for non-eBay sales). Then hit the Search For Matching Ads button at the bottom and BINGO! You get a list with all the Ebay ads filtered out. If you want to get creative try selecting 'Full Ads' in the Display Ads As field and then checking the Must Have Photos field. A beautiful scrolling list will appear with images. It's awesome. Now, if you live and breathe on eBay then you can do the reverse to show only eBay ads in your browse list. Just select 'EBAY' in the Type field and submit your search. Gone are those pesky non-eBay sellers! And, if you want to see all 'types' of ads mixed together in Advanced Search, select 'All' in the Type field (which is the default). There's so many things you can do in Advanced Search with the multiple criteria. This is totally fun. Go there and give it a try, why don'tcha? classifieds.insectnet.com
