I have been asked whether this is really a separate species from E. gracillicornis.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would say a true species in it's own right for sure

Thanks. I asked Prasobsuk Sukkit and he said that the horns are quite different, just to start with. However, as I am not a beetle-man I wasn't sure how to answer the question.
