Thanks a lot Emmanual, that seems to match. Unfortunantely it might be difficult to find out which species it is, couldn't find many pictures online. Any Curculionidae experts on the forum?  |

Small update, it is Pantorhytes gracilis (Gressitt, 1966) Thanks to a very helpfull paper on this genus found on the Bishop museum website. hbs.bishopmuseum.org/pi/pdf/8%284%29-915.pdfThanks again Emmanuel for giving the correct genus. |

Hey. I was just reading the document, very nice and lots of info. The specimen on gracilis pictured in figure 7 was coming from Wamena region.
