If your mounted & stuffed moths start to become greasy...use talcum powder and brush to lightly patting the greasy spot of body. Talcum take in fat, and you can blow talcum off mounted moths. Some of my stuffed moths had little greasy spots, but I fixed with talcum powder. Most of my stuffed moths had no grease on bodies. To keep wings of moths, stay A1, see this last five photos. Cut the 1cm X 6cm relerangle hole in centre of 20cm X 20cm trace (kitchen) paper, but bigger holes for bigger moths and butterflies with bigger wings. I moved the closed wings through the hole in centre of paper and move the base of wings to end of reletrangle hole, so wings are covered by paper, to protect the wings from grease/fats. I pinned the moth onto edge of board, to hold the moth steady before I gutted the moth. two pins to sides of thorax. Wrap the paper around the abdomen to keep grease/fats from paper that is covering the wings.
