Been in the US for 10 years now but my family is in Paris. Everyone is shaken there... And now living in NYC, with the holidays coming up... I would not be surprised similar things would take place in the big apple. Very sad.
Anyway, thank you for your kind note. And my thoughts are with French as well "soyez courageux!"

It has been a tough week-end... I have lost a colleague, he was 30 year old...
I have spent the whole week-end calling the family and friends in Paris to check they were safe, luckily they are.
People have been killed in restaurants, pubs, music concerts, football game.

This is the idocy of some people. I have just been playing a game on the internet called agario. you are a sphere where in the centre of the sphere you can call yourself a name. This one person was called ISIS. In the chat box I asked him why he called himself that, he said "because I believe in everything they do"
how do we stand a chance when morons such as he think this way?
my heart goes out to all the people affected by terrorism, but this week my heart sank for the victims in france.
so sad, so so sad.....

When will there ever be peace on earth? Jimmy Hendrix once said....."when the power of love overcomes the love for power, then the world will know peace!" Terrorism, conflicts, war and strife! How can people be so cruel to one another?!? To kill another person just because they don't have the same belief as you, or they have something you want so badly that you strike them down any way you can. Total absurdity. I am convinced that mankind does not have the ability to rule itself peacefully, as history has shown. Here is a video by the late John Denver, this sums it all up for me.

There are many reasons for this mess in the Middle East, it all started with the insanity of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919. Here the real culprits behind the First World War, Serbia and her ally Russia were never blamed for conpiring vs Austro/Hungarian Empire. At Versailles, the German/ Austro-Hungarian/ Ottoman Empires were made the scapegoats and severely punished by the victors. In the latter case, Ottoman Turkey was dismantled and new French/Anglo colonies created...Syria/Jordan/Bahrain/Lebanon/Iraq/etc. Also the Saudi Shiekhs had a hand in that. Once "Pandoras Box" was opened all the simmering old hatreds came out(under Ottoman Rulers) it was dormant. Now back to 2015, we have Saudi oil money financing ISIS, and their fanatical Sunni Islam. Today we have a new ISIS leader much like Tamlerlane of the 14th century, his henchmen kill, maim, rape, torture with delight. Airpower, will not win this war. Germany/ France/ USA other nations need to send ground forces into the ISIS Caliphate and wage "total war", in other words wipe them all out.

It seems that no matter what is done, there is usually another problem that arises in the wake of the last conflict. Each event triggers a response. Now the US is letting refugees into the country, and most Americans fear for the safety of their communities. Economically speaking, the US really cannot afford to take on yet another burden. We have enough people already on some kind of government aid program as it is! I would be willing to bet that the majority of US citizens are against letting refugees in, but our so called leaders don't give a damn about the will of the people(even though they say they do), and just go ahead and impose their decisions upon us whenever they want. I have a real bad gut feeling about the whole thing personally.

What is disturbing is that these nutcases can go off to their mad Jihad wars and then waltz back into Europe any time. Our Government says there are several hundred back in Britain wandering around. And now they are taking 20,000 Syrians in, plenty more Jihads to come. Enough is enough, time to sort it out. A recent poll shows that 1 in 5 British Muslims support the Isis fanatics who carried out these shocking atrocities . Shocking also to see that some Turkish fans booed and whistled and chanted their God is Great at a minutes silence for the Paris victims at their football match with Greece. Which side are they really on, shame on them. The truth hurts and so it should a lot.

Now we have another massacre in San Bernadino/California. Another common denominator, he just got back from Saudi Arabia/ the spouse came from there. Senator Cruz bluntly said the World is in a war with radical Islam, however Obama keeps his head in the sand on this issue. Up here we have a "new" Liberal PM who wants to bring home the warplanes bombing ISIS! French President Hollande has declared war, its about time that people wake up and face the truth.
