Do I need to have a permit to buy/sell us moth livestock? If so what is it and where do I get it. Thanks, Tim

Thanks Chris
To be more specific, do I need a permit to buy moths from someone in the classifieds? Or if I raise some moths, do I need a permit to list them in the classifieds? Does everyone who lists have a permit?

If you import or export across our national boundaries, the Us Fish & Wildlife SVc.( USFWS ) requires the filing of Declaration 3-177, and an FWS inspection. If the ova, pupae or adults( deadstock or livestock is for sale or barter, an import permit ( $100 annual renewal ) and an inspection fee ($93 per parcel)may be imposed. Tribute must be paid.

If you are trading (buying/selling) dead insect specimens within USA you don't need any permit.

So is it legal for someone in the US, without a permit of any kind to order from www.wwb.co.uk/ or anywhere else international?
