I found what looks to be evergreen bagworm cases on a sweetgum tree. Is this one of its food plants? Thanks, Tim

If it is green and leafy and looks like a tree, the Bag Worm will eat it.

There is another species found in southern Florida (Below the fall line). Oiketicus Abbott.
I have found caterpillar a number of times at Navy Wells in Safe County and on Key Largo in Monroe County. I have found them in my light traps by the hundreds in the Fakahatchee Strand state Wildlife Area, Collier County.

Thanks leptraps! I guess I thought they only eat coniferous trees. Tim
