Here's another set of noctuids that are boringly brown Largest moth about 3cm across: Left Column: 1. CO (not a clue) 2. PA (one of the Orthodes?) 3. CT (small and uniform gray, a Euxoa dart?) 4. CT (tortricid, pyralid, noctuid?) Right Column: 1. TX (Spodoptera with those white HW?) 2. CT (dark with white outlined reniform and post median line) 3. NJ (like a tiny Abagrotis alternata) 4. CT (same as above?)

Photos are either too dark without flash or washed out with flash. Don't know what I can do with a phone camera. Even genus or subfamily would even help.
