Your moth is a Noctuid: Psaphida grandis. There are 9 or 10 species in the genus. All are winter moths and fly very early in the spring. I find them in my light traps and bait traps on warm nights (Anything above 50 degrees F). In the winter of 2004 I have over 500 Psaphida in one light trap.
