Can anyone here give their views on these very pale beetle forms, one elsewhere has suggested they may be killed before there cuticle (exoskeleton) had time to harden and darken? What do you think.

looks like they have been treated by something like UV (or something else artificial)

They look bleached to me..........definitely altered somehow.

Yeah they look sunbleached. Just exposed for too long.

Are they trying to sell them as something special, or as damaged goods? If they just didn't get a chance to harden, that would probably make it much easier to get a pin through them

I am guessing something special but at least the prices were not off the scale.
