Beetlehorn: No need to apologize! Relative to most of the web we were being quite civilized. Our perceptions differ a lot though. I have a strong math background, but it doesn’t take much of a brain to see that the number one biggest problem is over-population. Too Many People. If you rank the top problems, they are all basically too many people. Climate change, growing violence, water scarcity, loss of biodiversity- habitat destruction. This was obvious when I was in high school. My wife and I married >30 years ago and agreed not to have children- we both had science careers. Many people say- you can’t solve over-population that way, but those who see the problem should do what they can.
Many of our cultures and religions still want their people to breed like rats. They do not care about numbers- just do it the way it has always been done. God will take care of the problem.
We disagree on immigrants. I have spent time in Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and lots of Indonesia and Malaysia. Their religion is no worse than christianity. The people are great. If we allow in 100,000 or more a year and they don’t want to assimilate I am not worried. My wife’s parents were both chinese immigrants and they believed in full assimilation and it worked. All their kids are very well off. Here in NM, many of the hispanic immigrants are assimilating very slowly and it shows economically. Their mistake, but it is their choice.
I hate the violence in Syria, but I strongly disagee that Trump would be better than Clinton regardless of what his friend Putin tells us. Best wishes for your grandchildren, may you have many more! Rick

Beetlehorn,
You shouldn't need to apologize when you are right. Humans are violent it's just that simple.

One point I would like to make, even though it really doesn't matter to the overall picture, is that the people from Syria are in fact not truly immigrants. They are refugees, which supposedly means that when whatever crisis they are seeking refuge from is stabilized or resolved, they should go back to their homeland, and I think many would like to. Immigrants are usually here to build a life and fit into the society they are coming to. I cannot predict the future, but I would bet that most of the refugees will probably stay if and when the war in Syria is over, and many of them will be nearly impossible to find, since our government loses track of people all the time. Just last week some 45 Afghanistan soldiers we trained in the US went missing, and to no-one's surprize our government has no idea where they are, much less what they are up to. How typical of what we hear in the news nowadays. Tom

All problems are about the human population, great social, cultural and religious differences, and resources (fact, that Earth has a limited space!). It is all about the BIOLOGICAL LAWS OF LIFE. Nobody can rule them! Every country in the world must have population limits! No other solution than this or suffering and war!.

I like the world in colors. I like Indians in India (not im my country except turists and several workers, students, scientists)! I am not "racist" or fascist ! The world with a lot of nations and cultures is nice. I want not the "uniforme gray" world (mix of all nations like in the USA for example)! Simply in Australia live no elephants, in Africe live no kangaroos. It is not wrong! Only one chance for humanity is to stabilize the population of all nations and preserve their identity, traditions, culture, ... It is my opinion. Americans probably do not understand it, because from childhood living in a completely different reality (which imposing to the rest of the world).

I must agree on that. Most of the US population lives around big, government lies, well controlled by the lords. The reality is twisted to manipulate the masses.
I hate politics and all $hit around it , that's way I rather collect insects and I am not going to comment anymore on this forum.

I have said this before and I will clarify it now.
65% of American voters are Evangelical Christains, this includes African Americans and Hispanics as well as White Europeans. If the Evangelical Christains vote their conscience, Trump gets elected.
Clinton,as President will continue the Liberal policies that have erorded the fundamental Christian beliefs, and the fundamental Morales of this great nation. As a result, in the not too distant future, the economy will collapse due to more taking a handout from tax payers than those working and paying taxes.
And I honestly believe that the United States of America will cease to exist as we know it today.
The only thing that could save us if Hillary get elected. Bill gets to banging those White House interns and when Hillary finds out, she kills Bill.
I would have given anything to have been a fly on the wall in the White House bedroom the night that Bill had to tell Hillary that Monica gave him a BJ. That would have been some conversation to hear.

If the Evangelical Christains vote their conscience, Trump gets elected. This really makes me laugh. I am essentially certain that Evangelical Christians do not all have consciences identical to your own. Many Christians I know are appalled with Trump and do not think he is fit to be president. You have probably imagined that Trump will do lots of conservative things to reverse lots of liberal things that you think are bad. Many of us doubt that Trump would do anything he has suggested. Listen to him and you conclude that he is a typical lying politician even if he does not have a political history. He has made so many outrageous statements, blatantly false, sometimes reversing himself but usually denying he said it or making up some new lie. Why you think this behavior will result in good things for the evangelicals is beyond me. I have relatives who are evangelicals (local cousins who helped found an evangelical school), also Church of Christ, a unitarian minister, Catholics, and even Buddhist and Jewish (no Hindu or Muslim but some friends are). They all have well-developed moral consciences as far as I can tell. It is a mix of some liking Trump and some preferring Clinton. Moral conscience does not direct this vote. Rick

I have watched the Liberal policies of both the Executive and the Legislative Branches of our government. I have watched them all become millionaires on a less than $200K per year salary. They have the best Healthcare Plan, Retirement Plant (Serve one term, loose the next election and then retire with full salary, health care and being an overpriced speaker), and Six (6) weeks vacation. And they can vote a pay raise every year and improve the outrageous benefits without ever consulting their constituents. And,they can serve as many terms as their constituents re-elect them. The very sad part about it all, their constituents have no legal recourse to prevent, modify or change any of the above. Not one, no not one individual who has ever run for a congressional position and promised to change all of the above abuses, including term limits have ever set "Bill" in motion to change any of it.
Trump says what he thinks, acts like a school yard bully and knows how to make money and not let politicians get any of it.
Clinton says what you want to hear, acts like a prom queen and knows how to spend your money and knows that you can do nothing about it.
And my final statement. Hemorrhoids are a serious pain in the ass. The only way to alleviate the pain is to cut them out. A time is approaching in the not to distant future when that will happen and that will be the end of the United States as we know it today.
It is too early in the morning for this stuff. I think I will visit Pickles Face Book page for some enjoyable humor and get my day started with a chuckle.
Oh yes, I have bait traps to check and light traps to collect and breakfasts at a Waffle House this morning. Is life great or what?

I'd like to reboot to 1950s. Collect anywhere in the world you want, Cuban cigars, put your machinegun in overhead storage on the aircraft, wear fur, eat bacon and butter, and walk through downtown at night without worry.

I'd rather live in a time where you can own land and live away from people. Out there, politics are not often heard or dealt with, and you can have weapons to defend your property. Also, I could collect bugs to my hearts content.

Well that's it! I'm done with the people of a nation that could vote for this madman. They now deserve everything that happens; unfortunately the consequences for the rest of the world could also be dire.

Don't be silly. You all know what the job off the president is I hope. The head of the executive. He can sign a bill or repeal an executive order and not very much else.
