I know this was a question I asked in my 'Getting Started' thread and I should have given it it's own topic. I am looking for a good book that covers various popular species of Lepidoptera that also gives good advice on raising them. One fellow recommended a book in that thread and it turned out to be out of print and the asking price is over $1000! OUCH! I am mostly interested in Giant Silkmoths, Monarchs and Swallowtail butterflies.
I have done a bit of research in my area. I live in NY and I found out that the following (that I am interested in) are in my area:
Butterflies:
Monarch, Black Swallowtail, Pipevine Swallowtail, Buck Eye
Moths:
Luna, Cecropia, Polyphemus.
I am sure this list will grow as I gain more knowledge and that too is another reason for getting a good book on the topic.
