Well said bichos. We are all here for the same reason. Every one of us likes insects. Even in the porch light area of the forum Clark shouldn't have to delete posts.

I agree Joe, we are all on this forum for the same reason, Entomology, the study of invertebrate of all kinds, I can assume an 8ft ape would have a backbone so has no place here, though I have had a good laugh, as regards the knock knock knocking, you guys have woodpeckers in the states right?
I don't wish to offend anyone, but trying to force people to believe in something without proof is bound to wind folks up.

Yes. We have woodpeckers here. In fact I'm sure it was one that destroyed a bald faced hornets nest that I was going to get. At no point in time have I ever got the impression bluemoth was trying to force her beliefs on anyone she was simply trying to share something she found interesting. The title of the thread says it all. Basically go and check this out you might like it. Even though she spelled it wrong. I think her thread created some great dialogue. I wouldn't know bluemoth if she was standing in front of me in the grocery store line but some of the things that got said to her were insulting and it would be a shame if she quit the forum. Everyone should feel welcome here and respected. We have a high school student that's a member. He loves entomology! He is curious and asks lots of questions because he wants to learn. What if one of us adults did something to discourage him and he quit? That would be a total shame.

Just thought you might like to take a look at this - look up cascade bigfoot on YouTube look for the video picture with red truck doors open in woods. A Bigfoot watches these guys while they have breakfast at the truck. As the guys walk away a camera pointing back wards gets the Bigfoot on film hiding behind a tree at left side of picture then ducking down. Bears do not do this kind of behavior. By the way I love insectnet I am not leaving. I know folks can really get in your face some times - especially with a topic like this one. All I can say is those with an open mind will likely learn and see the truth about these forest people and seek them out them selves like I am doing. The west coast Indians used to be friends with them. It is possible that may be we could be friends with them again if we try too communicate with them instead of run from them when they are seen.

I just spent 40+ minutes watching 12 YouTube videos of Cascade Big Foot. More fuzzy videos.
Want to make "friends" with Big Foot. Offer Him a Beer, or Her, a glass or Bottle of a nice red wine. Two or three beers, smack him over the head, cuff and cage him/her, your a millionaire.
Come on, more fuzzy videos, just shoot it with a knock out dart, like you use on bears.
Introduce me to Mr. Reo, I bring some knock out darts, go to Cascade and shoot the big fuzzy bugger.
As I have said repeatedly, hard evidence works wonders.
This cannot be this hard. Unless, Ms Bluetooth gets her jollies off getting a rise out of me.

I have re-read the entire thread. Ms Bluemoth made her point. She and Mr. Reo believe in Big Foot/Sasquatch. Evidence, fuzzy videos and blurry photographs.
Do I believe in Big Foot/Sasquatch. Nope!
Let's look at this from another point of view. We have done an outstanding job of ridiculing, insulting, poking fun, painting a very stupid image of Blue Tooth and Reo. Yes we have. And she continues to come back for more. That should speak volumes.
I have truly enjoyed this thread, and as long as Bluemoth continues to post with more fuzzy/blurry video's and photographs, I will continue to rise to the occasion.
We are all amateur scientist. If you want me to stop poking fun. Then get a specimen.

If bigfoot is real, so must be Santa Claus and also, the world is flat and not round. Lol I don't believe in Aliens, BF, Easter Bunny, ad nauseam. Unless there is a dead corpse of the thing as viable proof to its existence, how can you believe some random Joe calling himself an "expert"?

Well for those of you who are willing to learn more about the origin of Bigfoot read Bigfoot and the Bible by Leroy Blevins (article is on the internet ). If you believe what the Bible says then the Bigfeet are a race of giant, very strong, hairy humans that live separately from us smooth skinned people. I do not know why I never relised this sense I have read the bible cover to cover. The truth is rite there in the Bible while folks are trying to do genetic tests on hair. All of us in the world will now about how they came about if we just pay attention to what the Bible says.
The question now remains will any of them hairy people be willing to get to now us smooth sinned folks? The habituaters are reaching out to them showing them kindness. Only time will tell.

^^^^ Now that just made me remember why I really think bigfoot and many Alien believers are cooky! 😔 I'm sorry, but that is as bad as people still believing that the world is flat and not round, and that politicians are very honest. Once people add the bible to some theory, then there is a problem. As a believer, I take that as an insult. Were there a giant race of humans??? Many cultures have had giants in their traditions and there are some people that are huge. I have patiently watched those pathetic videos this Reo feller made and I do question their authenticity. I have read in some forum where someone has called him out as a sham, but frankly, I believe most of these people who make these videos and shows as just that, shams, cravens, fakers, and hoaxers. Anyone can be out in the woods at night, and if you are not accustomed to it, many of the sounds would be weird. A stick structure as a bigfoot made hideout of sorts sounds like utter bs! Is there any evidence of fur on them? If a big hairy creature like bigfoot actually did build such structures, there would be fur much like many pack rat nests, or any other mammal burrow or hiding spot. Nothing against Bluemoth, but this is just my take on this subject.

I have poked a lot of fun and belittled both of you. I had some second thoughts. I have none now.

I am afraid I have to side with leptraps on this one. There is nothing in the bible that confirms the existence of Bigfoot. If you are referring to the giants it speaks of then they are two totally different things. Nephilim are not sasquach.

I find the indignation as soon as Bluemoth mentions the bible very strange. Why should one mythology be any more valid than another. Both are unproven and unprovable so why should any logical person believe in either.

I happen to be a man of faith. I believe there is God. This great nation, The United States of America, was founded on Christain principles. We did not become a great nation without some Devine help.
And I have attempted, and at times I fail miserably, to follow my faith. But that is being human. I have never pushed my faith on others. I leave my actiona and words to do that.
I have also come to the opinion that Ms Bluemoth and her Mr. Reo have done there best to get a rise out of some of us. I have enjoyed rising to and taking the bait.
There are things that each of us hold sacred. God is the greatest of mine, followed by family and friends. Many of you I consider a friend.
As I said in a previous post, and this time I will stay my course. I am finished with this thread.

The bible is not unprovable. There are many examples of things mentioned in the bible that science can back up. Like snakes once having legs. It's a fact. Someone found a fossil of a snake skeleton in Africa and it clearly showed leg bones. I believe in God and I also believe that these things we have so many names for like bigfoot and sasquach exist. I just don't know what they are or if we ever will. I also think it would be mighty smug of us to think given the size of the universe that we are the only so called intelligent life.
