You have to love stories like this!
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A 70-year-old man accused of robbing a bank in Kansas told investigators he would rather be imprisoned than live with his wife.
Court documents say Lawrence John Ripple gave a note to a bank teller in Kansas City on Friday, demanding cash and warning he had a gun. Ripple took the money and went to sit in the lobby where he told a guard he was the "guy he was looking for." Officers arrived quickly. An FBI agent wrote in the affidavit that Ripple had earlier been arguing with his wife. He told investigators he wrote the note in front of his wife, telling her he would "rather be in jail than at home."
Ripple was charged with bank robbery Tuesday.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Ripple.

No, no, no, it was safer than a divorce.
Or, maybe he is married to a Sasquatch!
I am sorry boys and girls, until someone shows me carcass or skeleton, Big Foot is a myth. Or the effect of too much Booze or drugs.
PBR for example.

Should post her name so us single Kansans have a heads up. Maybe a "Bad Spouse" section next to the trader reports.....

This story came on the news here in Pittsburgh just as I was reading it here - too funny!
The story that followed it was just as good - an Oklahoma woman was arrested for incest after marrying her own daughter. Apparently she gave up her daughter as a child to be raised by her grandparents and then met her as an adult and "hit it off". Her explanation was: "she didn’t think she was breaking any laws by marrying her daughter because her name is no longer listed on her daughter’s birth certificate". She was also married for a while to one of her sons.
So - for anyone wondering, these are the unions that lead to the births of sasquatches - I'm sure you all have at least one of these creatures living on your block...

That reminds me of a joke I heard some years ago. A man was speeding down the interstate in a new Cadillac when he saw a state trooper coming after him. Thinking he could outrun the cop with his new Cadillac he goes for it and punches the gas. After several miles he finally gives up, as the trooper handcuffs him he asked him why he tried to outrun him. The man said "my wife left me!", and the cop said..... So What! He explained, "she left me for a cop, I thought you were trying to bring her back!".
