It could be worse. It could be ME.

I had my doubts when the election got started that Trump would win. The race went much differently than many people expected, especially the Hillary supporters, and as he won more and more states it became apparent that Clinton was losing her chances in key battleground states like Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Iowa. This is reminiscent of the race between Reagan and Carter back in the early 80's.

I was surprised by the out come. However, the back lash was not from white voters, but from people of faith.
When Clinton announced she supported Abortion and the rights of women's choice, I think that hit a silent cord in the faith community.
If you look at the election results by county map of each state, the large population centers with large welfare recipients, the went for Clinton, in Kentucky only to counties went for Clinton and not by huge margins, Jefferson County (Lousyville) and Fayette County (Lexington) all of the remaining counties went for Trump 72% or greater.
The church that I attend really pushed to get out and vote, and vote your convictions.
Am I happy with Trump, NO!. However, I think you will see some major changes in policy to some of our serious problems. And Trump is a business man, not a politician. If he makes America's money his money (As President), I will bet he changes the government's spending habits.
Maybe he will allow us to hunt Big Foots.
I could not resist.
Off to the Waffle House to celebrate.

I think "Trump" and "Christian" don't seem to go together, at least the last time I checked the Ten Commandments

I think the man is a complete clown and an egotistical fool, BUT if he decides to put on his big boy pants and actually become a good leader instead of a spoiled rich child, things may go better. Other than that, I have no faith in him and his actions were a put off, bigly.

I think "Trump" and "Christian" don't seem to go together, at least the last time I checked the Ten Commandments LOL! Wrong faith! I understand the connection you are trying to make. Most likely those of faith voted based on the perceived or promised actions rather than the faiths of the candidates.

I think many people out there protesting Trumps' win are a bunch of spoiled rotten brats that have never faced adversity in their lives. The election was won by the electoral college votes, which is the way it's always been done, but now they just can't seem to accept it. I don't mind peaceful protests, but if you are violent and act on it by hurting someone, vandalizing property, and threatening to kill someone, you should be punished....PERIOD!!! This is still America, so get a grip. Here is an example of how far some of them go.

As someone who doesn't like Trump, I fully agree that none of these idiots should be breaking the law, disrupting the places they live in, or skipping classes and exams because they are butthurt that Hillary didn't win.

If someone would have protested Obama's second term win, they would have been called racist.
However, if Hillary would have won via the electorial vote and lost the popular vote. That would have been okay.
Hillary lost this election because the long suffering over taxed and sick of being called racist middle class went to the polls and voted. Obama promised that he would help the middle class. He did not.
Trumps wins, too bad.
Let's start a new thread about Big Foot.

Just today I see that the millennial protesters are starting a petition to try and convince the electoral college to change their vote when they cast their ballots in December. This, the riots, the crying, the violence and just all the racist remarks against Trump supporters just makes me sick! What a bunch of snowflake pansies. What in the hell is wrong with the younger generation of this country?!? I suspect they want more free stuff like free health care, free college, or free cell phones, and now the so called "free" entitlements are threatened. Iv'e got news for them all....Nothing is "free"! Someone is paying for it. Namely the working class, and we are tired of it!!
