My girlfriend has found a couple of these near the sink area, and I have no idea what it is. I am certainly no bug expert. Any guesses? Attachments:

Sure thing.
I am in Chicago, IL. and both instances of seeing these was during the winter (possibly irrelevant).
We see lots of House centipedes around during the warmer weather, but this is a new one to us.

It's a book louse, Order Psocoptera.
