It's Diaprepes abbreviatus. The image of D. abbreviatus I found on the net does not appear as "heavily" marked...? Is this species variable? Simon Attachments:

Well, I kept it. I found it on a door at the animal shelter. I had not been a fan of the weevil group but this one intrigued me. Thank you for the fast replies.

Simon, yes this species is pretty variable. The elytra are also sometimes a darker orange color than the ones in these two pictures.
