I now see that after posting a "BAD TRADE WITH" add for her in the classifieds, she has posted one about me stating things that are untrue.
Here is the whole story. Originally, she was going to send me 10 Actias luna cocoons and I, in return, would send her 5 Automeris zephyria cocoons, because obviously they are worth more than lunas. Her lunas were not fully grown yet and my Zephyria were fifth instar. Mine pupated and I sent five, I thought, healthy pupae to her. After arrival she said that two were shriveled up and dead, I do not think I sent dead cocoons but, on the slight chance that I accidentally did, I offered to send more zephyria if she would still send 10 luna. She also said most had fallen out of their cocoons, as if it matters whether they come out of their paper-thin cocoons. Anyway, she responded saying she had already traded/sold most and could not send ten. So I agreed to just get 5 lunas in return for the three Zephyria.
On September 18 she packaged them and said she would send them. On October 8, after reminder her to send them, she told me they were not overwintering and had already hatched in the package. Then she said, "ill just send you PayPal money to buy 5 Luna cocoons on classifieds." She then said she had only $10 in her paypal account. I waited until the 17th before asking about the money. No response. November 19, I sent another reminder, but no response. January 19-again, no response. February 2-No response. On February 10, I sent a final message asking to send the money. She responded, not by sending a message of any kind but by sending only $5 through paypal.
I then left a BAD TRADER add in the classifieds to warn others. She then left a negative report about me! She says, "they were packaged unsafely and recklessly" and "I let Tim know about this but he still demanded the same price"-Totally not true, I settled for half the value price.
So now she has (at least)3 live zephyria cocoons and I have five dollars, minus shipping costs. And I am supposed to be able to buy five luna cocoons with the money.
Now that does not seem like a fair deal to me. What do you think?
