The top pic shows recto of the two. The top image is a regular C. coccinata......the bottom image is weird....? The bottom pic shows verso of the same two. The lower one in both pics leads me towards being C. coccinata, but like I've not seen. Note the FWs being satanic in nature and the HWs are not banded like a typical coccinata. The top specimen in each pis is 66mms with the bottom specimen in each being 60mms. Both moths were caught in north central Illinois at lights. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
