During the winter (December 2016 to Feburay 2017) I collected over 100 hiberncula. About 60 of these have produce larvae. I have two larvae on Willow,(Limenitis archippus) 17 larvae on Wild Cherry (Limenitis arthemis) and about 40 larvae of Asterocampa (both clyton & celtis) on Hackberry.
A larger Hibernacula containing 9 larvae of an Arctiid. I offered them several different host and they began feeding on common dandelion.
The Chrysalis I found produced a large Papilio glaucus (My assumption was correct) She is currently on a Spreading board.
I am still retaining the remaining Hibernacula and I have themselves on Wild Cherry.(I found them all on Wild Cherry) I am always hopeful.
