Would anyone be willing to trade something for a Dorcus Brevis pair?? They are pretty rare.. So if you are interested please comment. I'm willing to trade em for say... Dynastes Granti, Dynastes Tityus, Ceruchus piceus, Strategus spp, Lucanus spp, etc. ;D

Hello. I live in North Carolina and we have the D. Brevis here but they are indeed, in my experience, hard to come by. If I can get a pair this year I'd be happy to trade with you. I'm fairly new to collecting and have only caught three (I believe they were minor males) in the four or five years I've been collecting. Hopefully we'll be doing a swap. I have no certain favorite type nowadays. Almost anything of fair value would be okay with me as long as it is not something I do not already have in abundance. Best wishes, Darrell (member Arrowhead)

Hi! Whoops, I appear to have misread your post. I have some of the specimens you're looking for if you haven't swapped them yet. My email is buffalocent@windstream.net. Are you from the N.C. area, by chance? Thanks.Darrell

I've seen several at UV lights in eastern NC since the first of June so they are around. I have none for trading however, sorry.

Hi,
I would be quite interested in that species. Please do let me know if you have any available. I can arrange for the species that you are looking for.
Cheers and regards
