For some reason most of you on this list think I voted for The Donald. I will set the record straight.
I thoroughly dislike Donald Trump. Regardless of what any of you think of The Donald, he has "MADE" billions of dollars. You do not become a Billionaire by being stupid and foolish. He is a business man, not a professional politician. He is a first class BS artist.
I thoroughly dislike Hillary Clinton. Regardless of what any of you think, she is a keniving politician who has made millions by using her mouth. She is a first class BS artist.
Did I vote in the 2016 presidential election? The answer is yes. But I voted for neither of the above. I voted for a perennial write-in-candidate. Alfred E. Neumann.
At the age of 72, I still subscribe to Mad Magazine. "What? Me worry!!.
However, I will say two things about Trump. He is keeping his campaign promises and he can really piss off the Democraps.
Before the remains of Tropical Storm Cindy blows into town, Momma and I are off to the Waffle House.
And if you do not like the above, go smell some Moth Ball!!!

Back in the days of Vietnam war protests, Mad Magazine had a little spoof about the organization SWINE - Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything. It has remained with me all these years and I still think of it whenever I hear about students protesting. That publication has always been a favorite. Now the Onion serves my need for a satire fix.
The stock markets have been generally rising since Trump was elected in November- big big bucks added to my investments. Easily enough to cover all my international travel for the rest of my life. So who cares if he is a jackass. Making billions does not mean he is "not stupid or foolish" - and certainly not moral or ethical.
Collecting 100,000 insects does not mean I am smart- just energetic.

I loved Mad and the satire it had. Voting? One thing always stands out in my head: Who will stay out of my life/business the most gets my vote. Back to my regularly scheduled insanity- Hard to type with a straight acket on.........or eat waffles......

Then there was Spy vs Spy, Geezer Guys, and the always perfect male animal, Alfred E. Neumann. My hero.
And then there was NARF. Some of the greatest, sickest, nauseating and humor ever put to print.
Several years ago a complete collections of Mad Magazine was auctioned, I beleive on EBay for 1 million bucks.
My older Son gets Mad Magazine, a friend of mine who is a Methodist Minister gets Mad Magazine. Even Milo Tenarius Tulaqua the fifth gets Mad Magazine. It was said that Ronald Reagan was fan. I still have a tube of Crust, a Bottle of ###z and a Roll of NARF Remover.
No wonder some of you are such duds.

Kinda off the subject but the sale of the magazines reminded me of it. I know a guy that was cleaning out a old house and found a first issue of TV Guide in mint condition.

Here in England we have a similar kind of thing, the professionally insulted by everything brigade, usually bored middle class dimwits with too much time on their hands (most of them run the British butterfly conservation society) or university students who love a good riot, an opinion on everything a knowledge of nothing.

What we have in USA is a government run amok. Name just about any agency and one can find extensive abuse of power, re-interpretation of not just laws but also made-up rules to empower that organization, wasted money, and cronyism. The deep state does exist, and does so only for the profit and power of those ingrained into the system. It's like a cancer. I'm waiting for Trump to drain the swamp- if I were him I would have started replacing people immediately.

Exoticimports, I think we will have to wait for a while, as he is putting his lackeys in, and making the swamp great again.

The issue is Trump said he would "drain the swamp", but there are a bunch of alligators and cottonmouths that Trump installed himself. I mean between the EPA guy who wanted to destroy the EPA, the energy guy from Texas who forgot what that was in a debate years ago, the millionaire in head of education who hates public schools, all the people cutting funding to NSF and science funding, and the vice president that thinks the Earth is 6000 years old, it doesn't seem like the swamp is being drained. In fact, it's all top donors, billionaires, and nepotism.
While I don't think Trump is smart by any means (a person can be dumb in many areas but smart or even lucky in some areas), I think the anti-Trump people are being just as ridiculous in their whining

I do not disagree with your statement. I have said it before, Trump is a first class BS artist. However, he has made billions of dollars. It is not all his own doing, however, he hires people who know how to manage his businesses. I firmly believe he will do the same with the government. I think there Wil be a coming and going of people until he figures it out.
When you work for Trump, if you fail to produce, bye-bye, who's next. I personally think he will succeed.
But he is still a first class BS artist. And a very successful one at that!
And then there is Hillary. She needs to take a few lessons from Trump. Obama let the boys in the girls bathroom, maybe Hillary would let the girls in the boys bathroom.
I will say one thing for Trump, he sure knows how to piss off the liberals and the news media.
I wish he was my father-in-laws.

. I wish he was my father-in-laws. Then Ivanka would be your wife, and while you may know what to do with her, I question if you could I know she doesn't eat a Waffle House, and probably doesn't like bugs.
