I hadn't ever really heard those cicada names. There are some really good ones there. The ones at the end almost sound Polynesian.

I have a Japanese collector-friend who is by profession a forestry scientist. He named one of his kids Acer. (If you're not into botanical generic names, you'll have to look it up). I thought that was a cute name. jh

Acer, that is better than Ahole.
If you like tree names, how about Willow, Twiggy, or Aspen.
Of course there is Hazel Nut!!

Not really lep related, but I work with enough conservationists that we have kids running around the office named "Savanna Rose", "Winter Wren", "Drake", and "Forest".

That is a pretty name, and a pretty moth to boot.
