I brought out a previously frozen Ichneumon yesterday for mounting only to have one of the ovipositors break off. Usually in such cases, like for leps, I have some fast drying white glue I use, but I find this starts to break down with stored specimens in ethyl alcohol, and the reattached part detaches after time. Is there a glue I can use that won't do this? Thanks.

I think there's a good chance that one of the many brands of "superglue" would be stable in ethanol, if the repair has cured thoroughly before immersion... jh
