Anyone have experience with Rick? I searched and didn't find anything here. Just had a weird interaction with him and still not sure if he was even legit.
I had some brief emails back and forth with him about some beetles, in which he had some weird phrasing "Since you consider it that way bye.You will not know a scammer when he will come or meet one." He also randomly asked me if I had a Bitcoin account, which threw up some red flags. Combined with the fact he had a ton of Goliathus offered for 1/2 or 1/3 what they sell for on Ebay, and I was really worried.
When I asked about being a scammer, he seemed pretty legitimately mad and refused to do business with me. So now I'm not sure whether I avoided a bad situation or unintentionally upset an ESL dealer.

Sorry tv but you acted like a little child, asking someone if he is a scammer what did you expect will be an answer ?: Yes, I am please don't deal with me ?

Every once in a while, I forget why I don't check this board as often as I used to. Paul, thanks for reminding me.
As an active member, I'm trying to take part in an open conversation about interactions with a possible scammer. I brought up being a scammer with him because I was confident he was one (and generally that leads to some of the most entertaining conversations when they try to deny). It was only after he responded differently that I thought perhaps I had upset a legitimate seller. I came here hoping for confirmation one way or the other so that I could apologize if it were warranted. Instead I get belittling remarks from someone who is contributing zero to the conversation.

Actually, once I think a person is a scammer I will call them out on it or lead them on forever. Generally, I make sure I am pretty positive on the fact they are so, but once I am I will have some fun with them. And yeah, I know, that sounds immature but C'mon now, They make others mad all the time, why not give it back? JUst be careful they are actually scammers.
