I caught this male spider in Jacumba, California while it was wandering around in the desert on 1/10/18. I think it's a tarantula, but I'm not sure, and I'm definitely not sure what species it is if it is a tarantula. Anyone have an idea of what it is? For a tarantula, it's quite small, as you can see. I placed nest to a dime it for scale. Any help identifying this guy would be much appreciated.
