There is a Titanus giganteus specimen that is currently on sale on ebay that has been advertised as possibly female, due to the abdominal appendage showing. I have looked at it closely and it isn't a female. The antennae and legs show it is a male (I have a female T. giganteus in my collection and have seen others in the NHM London collection.) The rear appendage on display is part of an aedegus that is exposed, this is in itself is interesting, as it is not normally displayed, and this does make this male specimen a bit special, so probably worth more than a standard smallish male Titanus.
