Greetings, Not Chrysomelidae. This is a species of Nitidulidae in the genus Lobiopa, most likely Lobiopa undulata. See more images here: bugguide.net/node/view/167284/bgimageThe antennae are clubbed in this specimen as is typical for the nitidulids - chrysomelids do not have clubbed antennae. Lobiopa undulata is a very common species that feeds at sap as adults, and is commonly attracted to light. It showing up in this situation is certainly coincidental and nothing to be concerned about - probably came to a light and found its way indoors. Cheers! Bandrow
